Tutor to work with young people on Foundation Learning (FL) and Kickstart Gold (pre-FL)
£16440 – £18453 (dependent on experience)
FL is a programme for 16 – 18 year olds to support them into an apprenticeship, further education or employment.
- Your job will involve working with learners in an interactive way both in groups and individually.
- You will play a key role in delivering a high quality learner centred service.
- You will be working with young people who require additional support in order for them to achieve level 1 qualifications
It is essential that you:
- are able to work under pressure and manage your time effectively.
- have a CTLLS or PGCE qualification
- have a genuine desire to work with challenging young people.
- you are able to prepare and deliver training sessions in innovative ways.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will be required to identify learner needs, assess learner’s progress and monitor and record learner progress and achievement.
You will be given support and training to reach high standards.
