ESOL Beginners

Esol BeginnersThis course is aimed at learners who have little or no language or written English skills. It is the aim of the course to enable learners to interact at a basic level in English which will allow them to begin to integrate into society.

Course aims include:

  • Introducing yourself and giving basic facts in English
  • Saying and writing your name and addresses clearly
  • Greeting and meeting others
  • Describing illnesses
  • Making a telephone call to a GP/Emergency Services/Dentist
  • Describing daily routines
  • Recognising social signs
  • Asking for help/directions
  • Giving directions
  • Looking at personal safety
